Newton, age 63 years, of Lawrence, Kansas, a former Jefferson City resident passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Orlando, FL.Stan was born February 23, 1954 in West Plains, MO. a son of Delbert Eugene “Gene” and Maggie Belle (Smith) Newton. He was married on March 3, 1972 in Springfield, MO. to Sara Strong and from this marriage his two children were born, Aaron and Courtney. Sara and he remained friends to this day. He was a 1972 graduate of Jefferson City High School and had many lifelong friends through his class. Stan was employed in the energy sector his entire professional career, which spanned over 40 years. He was currently employed as a Senior Originator with Westar Energy, based out of Topeka, Kansas, but he traveled the country working with clients. Before his career with Westar, he had worked with Missouri Power and Light (while living in Jefferson City and Moberly), Associated Electric (while living in Springfield), and Cargill (while living in Madison, Wisconsin and Minneapolis, Minnesota). Stan was a man of faith who attended church throughout his life and was a faithful supporter of Alabaster Ministries. Those around him were a witness to his constant nurturing love ...

Dolly was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, Velma Swank, Ray Randolph John Randolph, Billy Randolph and Crystean Reed.Dolly is survived by a son William Eugene Wells and wife, Linda, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, two grandchildren, Doug Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Debbie Stoneham and husband Pat of Franktown, Colorado, five great-grandchildren, Johnny Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Billy Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ray Wells of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Meaghan Schultz and husband Mark of Westminster, Colorado, and Sean Stoneham and wife Chelsey of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Dolly is also survived by two great great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Schultz and McKayla Schultz.Funeral services for Dolly will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday June 23, 2017 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Johnny Eugene Holloway, 68, of Soddy Daisy/Dunlap, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in a local hospital, surrounded by family. He was retired from Hamilton County Juvenile Court, and he served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Rae Holloway, parents, James “Buck” and Verena Holloway; brothers, Jim, Doyle, and infant brother, Freddie.Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Zaragosa (David), Heidi Hickman (Rex); brother, Mickey Holloway; sister, Brenda Stuart (Tim), grandchildren, Tyler, Shian (Justin), Shealyn, David; and great-grandson, Justice. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Smith officiating.
