Monday, June 19, 2017March 22, 1970 – May 22, 2017 James Leonard Roush, age 47 of Clear Lake, MN, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.Jim was born on March 22, 1970 in Framingham, MA to Thomas and JoAnn (Welter) Roush. He graduated from Remer High School, Remer, MN and attended St. Cloud Technical and Community College to be a machinist. Jim enjoyed bee keeping and was an avid supporter of the St. Cloud Polar Plunge, having participated the last three years. He was a proud member of the Clearwater Masonic Lodge #28.Jim is survived by his parents, Tom and Nancy Roush of Polk City, FL; siblings Angie (Daniel) Wilkinson of New Richmond, WI and Tim Jackson of Clear Lake, MN; nephews and nieces, Justin, Ariel, Zachary, Kaylee, and Brandon; and great nieces Brooklyn, Linnell, and Harper.He was preceded in death by his mother in 1982.

Mrs. Pierce passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at The Cottages at Clear Lake North in League City, TX.Mrs. Pierce was the Business Manager of Rayne Branch Hospital and Home Health prior to her retirement and loved spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed many years of sewing and crafting and spent countless hours doing for others. She was also an active member of the Woodman of the World, American Legion and VFW with her late husband Wallace Pierce; enjoyed playing Mrs. Claus at Christmas with her husband as Mr. Claus for the Woodmen of the World and the community.She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Capel and husband, Mark of Galveston, TX; son, Byron Pierce of Kenner, LA; grandchildren,Candace Varela (Mike Varela), Alana Spencer (Luke Spencer), Mark Capel, Jr, Christina Cope (Travis Cope), Brennan Pierce and Corey Pierce; great-grandchildren, Michael Varela, Braden Cope, Arden Cope, Piper Varela, Payton Varela and Brody Cope; sisters, Alberta Atcheson (Bob Atcheson-Brother-in-law) and Claudia Guidry (Sister-in-law).Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace J. Monday, September 26, 2016Virginia “Ginny” M. Schrader, 78 of Becker who passed away on Tuesday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids. Rev. Timothy Baltes will officiate and burial will be at St. Marcus Cemetery in Clear Lake. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday in Sartell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids.Virginia was born on April 27, 1938 in Minneapolis to Virgil and Cordella (Knudson) Kilness. She was married to John Schrader on June 25, 1955 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Ginny was a homemaker and also worked as a nurse’s aide at various hospitals and nursing homes. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell, Christian Mothers and also a Clear Lake Lioness. Ginny enjoyed traveling in the family motorhome and shopping. She loved her family and thought that everyone should be together. Ginny was caring, loving, had a good sense of humor and she truly cherished the friendships she had.Survivors include her children, Steve (Marsha) of Annandale, Tami (Gary) Toenjes of Annandale, Shari (Chuck) Ahrens of Centerville and Brian of St. Cloud; daughter in law, Wendy (Keith) Goenner of Clear Lake; brother in law Keith (Sandy) Slater of Arizona; eleven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
